Ever since it’s launch, I had been wanting to try the I’m From Rice Toner. The K-beauty brand – I’m From, has some amazing products and being an ardent fan of their products, I knew this would be no exception. Luckily, this was included in the Gift Box curated by the Queen herself – Gothamista, and now I know for sure why she chose this toner in her curation.

The ‘I’m From Rice Toner’ is formulated with 77.78% rice extract that is effective in brightening the skin while also maintaining the skin elasticity and thus leaving the skin smooth and glowing from within. This also helps to form a protective barrier over the skin to prevent water loss and thus rebalances dry and tired skin.

The benefits of rice water have been largely known. They are excellent in skin brightening, anti-wrinkle, hydration, firming, fading dark spots, balancing uneven skin tone, etc. In addition to the rice extract, this has Niacinamide which is another superstar ingredient for brightening skin tone.

My Thoughts

Like all their packaging, the I’m From Rice toner comes in an elegant looking luxury glass bottle with a beige cap making it a very aesthetic looking product. Because this toner comes in a dual-layer consisting of a watery layer and an emulsion layer, you have to shake the product well before using it. The texture of this is a milky-white, watery consistency toner that feels kinda silky when applied to the skin. Absorbs fast with a feeling of deep hydration and yes, the brightening results this brings are unmistakable.

I apply this immediately after cleansing my skin clean and I feel this brings just the right amount of hydration needed by the first step in a skincare routine. I mean you don’t want your skin to be feeling heavy or greasy in the first step itself, right? I have dry skin and this has been perfect for me this winter. It is very intensely hydrating, gives me that healthy-looking glow and I feel my skin texture has smoothened a lot. I am more than halfway through this toner now and I cannot stop gushing about how good this has been for my skin.

Final thoughts

Having used the I’m From Rice Toner for more than 3 months, it has noticeably brightened up my complexion. I know I am not exaggerating when I say this because this result has also been noticed by other users. This gives my skin that deep hydration, instantly brightens up my skin tone, there is a noticeable glow and my skin feels smooth and supple. I think this will be suited for all skin types as it is not greasy and can be easily layered for extra hydration and moisturization. Because with this toner I was seeing visible results, I have been recommending this to my friends who have been equally loving this toner. I think this itself speaks on how much I adore this.
