The Fresh Herb line from Nacific has clearly become my “obsessed favorites”. The Fresh Herb line has a toner, serum, and a cream. In my earlier post, I have reviewed the Nacific Fresh Herb Origin Toner and I adore that toner. Apart from the products from this line being totally awesome, the packaging is also absolutely stunning. And yellow being my favorite color, these products are truly love at first sight. From the trio, today’s post is all about the Nacific Fresh Herb Origin Cream. (Stay tuned for the review on the Origin Serum)
What is in this?
Made with a triple layer moisture technology for faster absorption, this cream (150g) is patented with botanical extracts like chamomile along with antioxidant component Sepicalm – a blend of water lily extract and amino acids. The fast-absorbing technology helps to lock in moisture and fights the signs of aging by providing a healthy, youthful glow. Additionally, this also repairs damage at the deepest level to keep the face nourished and moisturized for long hours.
Some of the key ingredients in this cream are:
- Chamomile flower extract (63%): This is one of the main ingredients in this cream (listed as the first main ingredient). It is great in soothing, calming, and hydrating the skin.
- White Water Lily: Another star ingredient that helps in combating early signs of aging and provides soothing as well as helps in boosting the skin elasticity.
- Niacinamide (Vitamin B3): brightens skin tone, minimizes enlarged pores, soften fine lines and wrinkles.
How to use:
- At the last step of a skincare routine, use this face cream to lock-in nutrients to the skin.
- The amount to be used depends totally on the skin type. Less amount if the skin type is oily and vice versa.
- Pat face lightly for better absorption.
My Thoughts
The texture of this cream feels very smooth, creamy (slightly viscous), and luxurious which glides over the skin beautifully. This has little to no smell. Only a little amount is sufficient and it can feel a bit too shiny if applied a lot. It does take a few minutes for the cream to be fully absorbed. I have dry/combination skin and this has not been a problem for me as the cream sinks in nicely after a few minutes. It leaves my skin very supple, bouncy, and moisturized. The best part is waking up the next morning to a supple, glowy, and nourished skin. I have also been using this cream in my AM routine and this still does not feel heavy or greasy ( a tiny amount is sufficient for the morning).
As spring is approaching, it is the perfect time to transition to a lighter moisturizing cream and this fits that category perfectly. This does provide that much claimed deep moisturization and my skin feels smooth.
Final Thoughts
Everything about this cream feels good. From the yellow opaque sturdy packaging to the finish of this cream; it all feels good. The packaging alone is a stand-out for me. It has the most beautiful hue of yellow, and yellow being my favorite color, this looks pretty to have in my vanity. Definitely one of my prized possession and a winner product for me.
This product is cruelty-free and is free of potentially irritating ingredients like paraben, sulfates, mineral oil, essential oils, and artificial fragrances.
