Being an ardent fan of double cleansing, cleansing oils are something that always interests me. A few weeks back, I got to try a set of Celimax’s best sellers. Out of all their products, this cleansing oil from CELIMAX is the one I was most excited to try. I have heard excellent reviews on this oil from all my fellow beauty bloggers and I know for many, this cleansing oil is probably their favorite product from Celimax. Let me share with you my experience through this Celimax Jojoba Cleansing Oil Review.
What is in this?
The Celimax Derma Nature Fresh Blackhead Jojoba Cleansing Oil has been claimed to be a gentle yet effective cleansing oil suitable for all skin types. It penetrates deep to unclog pores and remove blackheads plus whiteheads.
The Celimax Cleansing Oil is formulated with 6 types of natural oil:
- Jojoba seed oil
- Meadowfoam seed oil
- Sunflower seed oil
- Sweet almond oil,
- Olive fruit oil
- Grape seed oil
*This has Bergamot fruit oil & Alcohol.
How to use it?
- Dispense ~2-3 pumps on dry hands and gently massage onto a dry face (finish under 1 minute).
- Add a small amount of water until the oil emulsifies and turns milky white. Massage one more time, then rinse with water.
My thoughts
The thin oil spreads effortlessly and there is no tugging of the skin felt while massaging. I do not wear foundation or makeup on a regular basis but when tried with makeup, I found this to work well in removing makeup as well. No burning of the eyes felt when removing eyeliners or mascaras.
I found that I didn’t have to work hard to get the oil off. The oil emulsifies well when washed leaving no residual film. The fact that this washes off effortlessly is probably one of my favorite highlights of this cleansing oil.
The only additional thing I wish this cleansing oil had is a slightly taller pump as the height of the dispensing pump is quite low causing some occasional spills.
Other than the cleansing oil being great, my only critique is the pump dispenser. I wish they would come up with a better dispenser.
Conclusion
I really enjoyed the Celimax Derma Nature Fresh Blackhead Jojoba Cleansing Oil. It is a thinner consistency cleansing oil, which is exactly how I prefer my cleansing oils. It melts away all my makeup, sunscreen effortlessly, and washes off clean without any residue.
Celimax as a brand has caught my attention. Why? Because I have seen them taking responses/critics/suggestions from the viewers/consumers so well. And they are always trying to make improvements based on the suggestions. That itself speaks volumes and has my huge respect.
