Well, if you have been following me on Instagram (@heartfullofsammy), then you must already be aware of my deep adoration for propolis skin care products. As much as I enjoy propolis in my skincare, equally enjoyed are honey-based products. Ever since my introduction to I’m From Honey Mask, honey as a skincare ingredient has always had a soft spot in my heart. Since I have enjoyed both the Honey Mask as well as the Honey Cream from the I’m From Honey line, the Honey serum was warmly welcomed into my skincare with arms wide open. The I’m From Honey Serum contains 30.63% of ‘Honey Glow Queen’, which is the brand’s own unique Honey Complex containing a mixture of 7 active ingredients – honey, black bee propolis, royal jelly, been venom, turmeric, bee pollen, and cinnamon.

Honey as a skincare ingredient has innumerous benefits. They are a natural humectant that keeps the skin moist but not oily. Thanks to its antibacterial, anti-inflammatory abilities, honey is a good candidate for acne-prone skin. Honey is packed with components beneficial for the skin, ranging from brightening, fading acne scars, nourishing and moisturizing the skin, anti-aging, to maintaining healthy skin, the benefits of honey for skin and face is large.

  • After cleansing and prepping the skin with toner, apply your favorite serums.

My Thoughts

You know that feeling when you eat something utterly delicious, you are instantly teleported to a place so beautiful with angels singing a sweet song? Well, that is the same feeling I had when I applied this Honey Serum onto my face.

The honey-like gooey texture spreads so well hugging each and every corner of my face like a silky second skin (a little amount goes a long way). For my dry skin, this Honey Serum gave my skin that much-needed burst of moisturization and it felt deeply nourishing.

It gave my skin a silky-smooth, supple, and plump skin. Oh, did I mention the honey-like glistening glow this gave my skin? The glow is unmistakable and my face looks like one happy glazed donut. Especially now that it is winter, this Honey Serum took good care of my skin by giving it a nice coat of moisturization.

While this serum provides deep moisturization, it does not feel heavy or greasy. This is why I enjoyed using this serum for both my routines. So much so that I emptied this serum in no time.

Conclusion

The I’m From Honey Serum, just like it’s other members from the honey line, did not disappoint at all. A definite repurchase and a winner product for me. My dry skin says ‘thank you’!!
