What is in this?

A unique balance formula of a gel-cream, the Klair’s Fundamental Water Gel Cream is formulated with 63.7% Jeju Green Tea Water (Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract) and Panthenol as the main ingredients.

Ways to use the Klair’s Fundamental water Gel Cream

As a daily lightweight moisturizer : The texture of this gel-cream is runny and applies well without any greasiness. Due to its lightweight feel, it can be worn as a moisturizer for both the day and night.
Subsitution for emulsions/serums: Summer skincare varies from a winter skincare regime. Fewer layer of products are preferred for the summer time. This gel-cream feels lightweight but is deeply nourishing and hydrating and hence can be substitued for emulsion or serums.
Double moisturizer in the winter: While oily skin types will benefit from this in the winter season, for dry and dehydrated skin types, this gel-cream can be applied before a thicker consistency cream for a double moisturizer benefit.
As an overnight sleeping mask: Since this is a lightweight yet nourishing gel-cream, it can be layered well after a moisturizer as a sleeping mask. The light texture does not feel greasy on the skin and will hydrate and nourish the skin all night.

My thoughts:

My Skin type: dry, combination skin

The Klair’s Fundamental Water Gel Cream feels creamy and runny. This comes in a jar with a spatula for an easy application. Although many users have voiced their prefernce for a pump dispenser as this gel-cream is quite runny. For me personally, I kept the jar upright with the spatula inside and the jar container did not bother me much.

A little amount is sufficient for the whole face. Just like its claim, “ Feel Lighter, Go Deeper”, this definitely feels very lightweight and yet extremely nourishing. I had no trouble layering this gel-cream, meaning there was no greasiness. My skin felt nourished and supple. There is practically no scent at all (does not contain any artificial fragrance).

This gel-cream applies smoothly and I love how supple and nourished it makes my skin. I can do multiple layers of this gel-cream and it still does not feel greasy or heavy. It is a light yet hydrating and nourishing cream that I feel all skin types will benefit from. It didn’t take me long to fall in love with this cream.

Final Thoughts

A gel-cream that has a light-weight feel yet richly nourishing. Perfect candidate for the warmer days when you don’t want a heavy moisturizer. Applies smoothly. Skin feels bouncy, supple and radiant. Sets down to a non-greasy finish. And that healthy radiant glow this gel-cream gives is undoubtedly the best highlight of this cream.
