This Honey Mask from I’m From has been a total game-changer for me. For someone who was a sheet mask hoarder and a sheet mask addict, this made me fall in love with wash-off masks and forget about sheet masks. I do still use sheet masks, but not frequently like before.

This mask was probably the first mask I tried from I’m From and fell in love with it instantly.

You might be wondering how I got introduced to this wonderful jar of honey goodness? It probably has to be from Eunice and Gothamista. Each time they raved about this, I got more and more intrigued and desperate to try. Thankful to these beauty gurus for introducing me to a whole new world of honey goodness.

About the mask

The texture of this honey mask is gooey, melted caramel-like texture that smells heavenly and applies beautifully. This mask contains 38.7% (46.44g) natural Jirisan honey that provides deep moisturization and nourishment. While there are numerous benefits of honey in skincare, moisturization, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties are probably the top attractive properties. Along with natural honey, other few notable ingredients in this mask are beeswax, snail secretion, propolis extract, and bee venom, all of which make this mask even more luxurious.

HOW I USE IT?

On weekdays or on days when I am home, I love spending the day with this mask on. Sometimes I leave this mask for more than 2~3 hours (recommended time is 10 minutes up to an hour) and the texture remains the same. It does not dry out or droop, which is a good thing cause then you can multitask, do your household chores or eat. Hehe! This mask does come with a small spoon-like spatula and you can use that to apply this mask. But for me, I like using the I’m From rubber spatula (shown in the images) which is great to get that even application.

RESULTS

This mask rinses off easily and does not require a second cleanser wash. After washing off the mask, my skin feels extremely soft and supple, deeply moisturized and nourished. I love this mask and I always have an extra jar for backup. This just shows how much I love and adore this mask. Previously, I used to love sheet masks so much that sometimes I wished I could wear the mask for longer than the recommended 20 minutes. My wish seems to have come true. This Honey mask is one product that is irreplaceable for me.
